Playable Sprites

Well I really don't, actually. That's why I said I'd hate to do it

I just wanted to show that off since it has sprites in it and I think I did a good jorb on it

Lol, You don't have to do anything. I still have a ton of work to do with the sprites. Im not even half way done. Lol

Sorry for doubel post. What about battleing? We have the playable sprites. But what about the battleing character part. Like this The Trainers Backs. What are we going to do about those? I don't think we are going to go through and make every character a back sprite! Talk about FOREVER! And what about all 493 pokemon sprites?!!? Do we still need to get those!?!? If so ill do them! I love geting sprites!

Welcome to a good Pokémon MMO that takes time and effort to make. Leave your thoughts at the door.

Huh? Im guessing that we are going to make a back sprite for every character! WOW! That is going to take some time! And as for the pokemon sprites, im pretty sure we are going to use them! Lol, want me to start geting them? Do you want me to get normal sprite and backsprite, or normal and shiny sprite and backsprite?

For now, we're just going to use the images for D/P for Pokemon, so don't worry about that. First, we want to start getting the back sprites done for characters.

Correct.

So really all the trainer sprites we need is: The moveable character, the trainer card sprite, and the backsprite. That is a lot of work! I will be working on that, Snakehead im sure will help, are you going to PCG? Tocs is im sure busy codeing to get them on, lol.

Yep. Right now, I'm working on getting all the alternate Pokemon sprites up. If you want, I'll start making back sprites.

It's up to you. Im working on some right now. Also, I noticed some characters have sprites missing. Like Cheryl, the girl with the green clothes on, and the long green hair, and the light voice! Anyway, where was I? Oh yea, she has the little sprites (the moveable ones) and the backsprites, but no big sprite (used in the trainer card). We will have to make her one. And all the other sprites that are missing ones. I noticed the Lucario guy is missing the same thing Cheryl is to.

I just finished my first custom sprite including a back pose but there is still loads of stuff i think that needs to be done if it's ever going to be a hero sprite. I don't know how much of the following i should do for my hero.
Can you give me some guidance to my next step?

Here's the basic list of things needed for a hero;
-1 front pose, used to display a character in a battle.
-5 back poses that if used in order will resemble throwing a poke ball.
-The running, walking, cycling, walking in your contest suit and surfing/swimming movement sheets.
-Various actions such as water plants, using poketech, saving game (not sure on this since you don't save a game online), using a Pokemon's hidden or special ability moves and finally fishing.

And the list for non-heroes;
-1 front pose, used to display a character in a battle.
-The running, walking, cycling and surfing/swimming movement sheets*



*Every non-hero will not not to have running and surfing/swimming movement sheets.


So basically we have to develop all of the following this but on our own custom players for a hero;

A question I've been meaning to ask, how many custom characters do we have to create? So far i haven't even finished my first hero if i have to do all the things in the list i posted above, so if you tell me how many i need to make i may be able to get a friend to help me. Not promising he will do it though.

Anyway, what do you think of my hero character so far?




I think the backsprite is the worst.

The "Lucario Guy's" name is Reilly.
And holy CRAP! That was my elementary school! (Peter W. Reilly, the most boring place on Earth! )

For right now, all we need is the walking animations, the front sprite, and the back sprite. If you can't find a sprite, make it.

Also, that back sprite still is incredibly bad. There's no shading on it and it just seems flat. Also, you just ripped the wand/staff off of the other sprite of him.
